Zachery Tims' ex-wife Riva recalls their recent family vacation:
Zachery Tims' funeral is today with his family, friends and church members mourning the much loved Pastor of the New Destiny Christian Church. Although Tims’ was divorced from his wife, Riva, the two shared family time because they had children together. Riva recalled their last family trip together just a week before Tims’ death, according to the Christian News Today.The Tims’ divorced a few years ago after Zachery was caught having an affair with a stripper. This much publicized fall from grace ultimately led to the demise of their marriage. With Zachery and Rivi having four children together, they were able to put aside their differences and spend time as a family. Their vacation to Puerto Rico, a few weeks ago, will be their last together as a family.As Riva recalled their last vacation together as a family in front of a crowd of a few thousand church members, no one took their seats. They stood and listened to what the ex-wife of Tims had to say. Riva is also a pastor herself. She told the chruch members, "God saw it fit that we would have an opportunity to spend a few days together with him," she said to the crowd who never took their seats while she spoke. "He was able to fellowship with his sons and his daughters. He was able to take pictures with them.
